Our Drama Program

The drama program is open to all students as an extra-curricular activity. Every student who auditions is invited to be involved either as an actor or technical crew. They learn to work as a team through rehearsals, set and props construction, and sewing costumes. The program is led by Robin Weatherall, a professional director and sound designer with over 40 years experience in theatre.
There are two productions each year, the Fall Play and Spring Musical. Students also participate in Metro Youth Shakespeare, a program of the Shakespeare Festival of St Louis.

Students are encouraged to take part in drama. Many opportunities exist for student involvement, from acting, singing, set building, lighting, and sound for each show.
