Important Information about Monthly Payment Plans and the FACTS Tuition Management Company

Why FACTS?
Lutheran High School Association of St. Louis (LHSA) has selected the FACTS Management Company to help us better manage our tuition collection.  FACTS provides nearly 3,500 schools nationally with a “better way” to manage the business side of education.  Their program is used by more than 400,000 families.   Facts can be used for annual, semi-annual or monthly payments.  (Monthly payers MUST pay through FACTS.)  You can choose to do a draw from a checking or savings account or pay with a credit card.  See below for the fees associated with each type of payment.

Enrollment in FACTS
Families who are new to our schools

You can access the FACTS enrollment link by going to their website at www.factstuitionaid.com. You will need to register as a new user and input your bank information with the bank name, phone, routing number and account number.  If you are not able to enroll online, please contact Chiquita Williams, , Student Billing Coordinator, at 314-382-6664, ext 320.

Returning families: 

If you were enrolled in FACTS last year and have selected a monthly payment plan, you will automatically be reenrolled in FACTS.  If you paid annually or semi-annually through FACTS using a credit/debit card, you will also be automatically reenrolled if you select this option on your tuition payment preference form.

Fees
Annual or semi-annual payers will be charged an annual enrollment fee of $10 per family. This will be collected by FACTS.  A credit card fee of 2.5% will be also be charged by FACTS if you are paying with a credit or debit card.    Accepted credit cards are Mastercard, Discover and American Express (VISA is not accepted).

Monthly payers will be charged an annual enrollment fee of $38 per family.  This will be collected by FACTS.   A credit card fee of 2.5% will be charged also if you are paying with a credit or debit card.    Accepted credit cards are Mastercard, Discover and American Express (VISA is not accepted)

FACTS Payment Dates
5th or 20th of the Month

Changes to Accounts
Changes can be made up to 2 business days before the payment date. Please contact Chiquita Williams, Student Billing Coordinator, at 314-382-6664, ext 320. Only two changes per semester per child are allowed.

Missed Payments
Any missed payment will automatically be reattempted on the next available payment date (5th or 20th) until the account is current.  FACTS will send a letter advising you of the missed payment.  A $25 attempt fee will be charged by FACTS in addition to any fees that may be charged by your bank.  Timely payment of your tuition is of utmost importance.  Missing monthly payments could result in your student not being allowed to return to school.  However, LHSA understands that there could be special circumstances for missing a payment.  Please contact Chiquita Williams, Student Billing Coordinator, at 314-382-6664, ext 320 if you have any questions.

Tuition Insurance
The FACTS “Peace of Mind” tuition protection program is an optional benefit offered to all families.  In the event of death, the plan covers the person paying the tuition and the legal spouse of that person.  The benefit is paid directly to the school to cover the unpaid balance (except payments in arrears.)  Coverage begins when the $12 fee for “Peace of Mind” has been paid to FACTS.  You cannot enroll in this program after FACTS has begun deducting your monthly payments.
